Our Vision for Rez on the Rez is to help guide Tribes as they take control of their natural energy resources by utilizing sovereignty as a tool to help them obtain their energy goals and independence. We developed this vision by looking at the clean renewable energy zones of Texas. The state of Texas wanted to harness its renewable wind energy sources, which were located in the west, and utilize it in the population centers to the east. They figured out how to best transmit that clean energy to places that need it by examining the existing infrastructure and what areas were best suited for natural energy collection. Like Texas, Tribes are in a great position to do the same survey of their lands and resources since they have control over them. By applying the Texas model to tribal reservations, Avant Energy helps tribes identify their clean renewable energy zones and harness that energy for themselves.

Avant Energy has several clients in energy consulting. Working with cooperatives, municipal utilities, and now tribes, Avant has established long-lasting relationships throughout its 36 years in business. We have helped our clients in several different ways on multiple energy issues. By primarily operating as a consultant and a neutral party, we are giving our clients the best no strings attached advice. With no relationships to any particular manufacturers or technology advisors, we have your best interest in mind throughout our consulting process. It is our goal to not sell you on or lead you into investments you do not need to make, but to guide your Tribe while you make your energy decisions, goals, and initiatives a reality.
